RETOSA Secures Partnerships with International Radio Stations

In an effort to increase our marketing efforts, RETOSA forged key partnerships with two vital media organisations - Khaya Kool FM and Channel Africa (a subsidiary of the SABC). Khaya Kool is an international radio station that focuses on the tourism, hospitality and travel industries. It broadcasts to tourism enthusiasts from all over the world. Channel Africa aims to promote the rejuvenation of Africa through the production of dynamic and stimulating programmes in the following languages: Chinyanja; Silozi; Kiswahili; English; French; and Portuguese.

By developing such partnerships, RETOSA aims to keep stakeholders informed about the organisation’s efforts as well as to ensure that all events are given a major platform. The two media houses played a vital role in promoting both the Sustainable Tourism Development Conference and Women in Tourism Conference which were held in November. Such partnerships represent the core of RETOSA’s marketing mission and enable the organisation to connect with tourism stakeholders who would otherwise not have access to the organisation and the work that RETOSA does. RETOSA aims to continue forging partnerships with relevant media entities in order to enhance our reach in the world of tourism even more. Member states are welcome to take advantage of these relationships to create awareness for their events, products and more.

RETOSA would like to invite any national, regional and international media houses and media personalities who would be interested in similar collaboration initiatives to contact Ms. Lineo Tlapana at This email address is being protected from spambots.
